Case study

Trolley

Retail POS and e-commerce · Kuwait & KSA

Why Trolley needed a POS that keeps selling offline

Trolley is Kuwait’s 24/7 convenience retail chain, a growing business that sells in stores and online across Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. Checkout had to keep working through outages, and promotions had to behave the same at the till and in the app.

What we built

What Enegix built for Trolley: POS, app and back office

Enegix built Trolley a POS that keeps selling offline and syncs when it reconnects. It runs as an Android app (APK) on SUNMI terminals or on the web, depending on each branch’s setup. Enegix also built Trolley a customer app for delivery and pickup. Its features include offers, loyalty points customers redeem, receipts from in-store purchases, and Trolley Premium, a delivery subscription. Product bundles form automatically at the till and sell as one product in the app. All of it runs from one back office, with KNET, split payments and ERP connectivity.
